Basso Lab’s Mukta Sharma Featured in The Scientist

We’re excited to celebrate our very own Mukta Sharma, who is featured in The Scientist’s Postdoc Portraits series during National Postdoc Appreciation Week!

Mukta’s journey from India to Michigan State University highlights how access to technology can spark bold, innovative science. In the Basso Lab, she’s leading the way on projects that turn agricultural fields into “digital twins,” using remote sensing, machine learning, and crop simulation to help farmers adopt more sustainable practices.
